Workshop (Marine Scientific Research System, Application Experience and Methods of Development)

The General Commission for Survey (GCS) held a workshop under the title (Marine Scientific Research System, Application Experience and Methods of Development), in the presence of members of the Advisory Committee for Marine Scientific Research and specialists from relevant authorities and universities.

Dr.  Mohammed bin Ali Qurban, CEO of the National Center for Wildlife Development at the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture, presented a presentation entitled Scientific Research in the Field of Marine Sciences in KSA via Visual Communication.  Dr.Mohammed bin Mustafa Aziz, Director General of the General Department for Environmental Strategies and Information at the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, a presentation entitled “Agreements, treaties and environmental regulations in force in KSA, and that is the surest work of the marine scientific research system workshop, application experience and development methods.  Dr.Abdelaziz bin Muhammad Al-Suwailem, CEO of Al-Manara Company at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, made a presentation entitled The Marine Scientific Research System in the Kingdom’s Marine Areas: Experiences and Methods for Development. It was among the works of the Marine Scientific Research System workshop was a presentation entitled Marine surveys of marine areas of the KSA, presented by M.  Zahir bin Abdul Rahman Al-Shehri from the The General Administration of Hydrography in GCS of  This was followed by a presentation entitled The Library of Drilling Samples by M.  Abdel Nasser bin Salah Qotb, head of the Marine Geology Center at the Saudi Geological Survey, as part of the marine scientific research system workshop, the application experience and development methods.  And finally, a presentation entitled Marine Sciences (Bright Pages from a Bright Present) presented by Dr. Adnan bin Jamaan Turki, Dean of the Faculty of Sea at King Abdulaziz University, as part of the workshop of the marine scientific research system, application experience and development methods.
